Services and Activities

The Chamber is authorised to issue a variety of trade and shipping documentations for both locally-manufactured and re-export goods, as well as for direct shipments from a second or third country.

A Certificate of Origin (CO) is an important international trade document attesting that goods in a particular export shipment have been wholly obtained, produced, manufactured or processed in a particular country. It is also a declaration by the exporter. COs may be requested by Customs administrations, importers, freight forwarders or banks for clearance of Letters of Credit.

The issuance of the COs is an important function of the Chamber in international trade. The majority of governments and governing agencies regionally and internationally rely on the network of the Chamber in this respect due primarily to its knowledge, expertise and credible track record.

The fee for a Certificate of Origin is:
S$9.00* for SICCI members
S$12.00* for non-SICCI members

Express Service for Certificate of Origin is offered at:
S$16.00* for SICCI Members
