Boardroom and Seminar Room

The Chamber rents out its premises for seminars, meetings, conferences and other networking activities by member companies and other organisations. The boardroom can seat up to 18 people while the seminar room can seat up to 40 people.

 

Centrally and conveniently located at the heart of the Central Business District, these two rooms boast of state-of-the-art visual and audio facilities such as an overhead projector, LCD projector, white board, screens, television and video.

The Chamber charges a minimal rate for the use of the conference room and facilities.

Please note:

  • The booking rates include the rental of the facilities, audiovisual equipment and utilities charges. The rates do not include the Goods and Services Tax.
  • The rooms are fully equipped with a ceiling-hung projector, projector screen and internal speaker facilities for one microphone.
  • Additionally, the conference room is equipped with an LCD TV and a DVD player. Users will, however, need to bring their own laptops for use.
  • Refreshments can be arranged at S$8.00 per person (inclusive of three snacks from the prescribed menu, coffee/tea and packet drinks).
  • A security deposit of S$100.00 is required to confirm a booking. This shall be refunded upon the satisfactory return of the facilities to SICCI. A separate cheque should be issued for this purpose.
  • The weekday night and weekend sessions include overtime manpower cost and additional utilities charges.
  • Discounts are available for block bookings.
  • Bookings are not available on public holidays.
  • Please complete and submit the ‘Facilities Booking Form’ together with the rental fee and security deposit.
  • Bookings must be made at least five working days in advance and payments at least three days prior to the date of usage.
  • A cancellation fee of 50 percent shall be levied should the user cancels the booking following payment.
  • Cheques should be made payable to ‘EDC@SICCI’.
  • Urgent bookings, without the above-prescribed time clearance, may be subject to additional charges.
  • Bookings are subject to availability and approval by the Director, EDC@SICCI.
  • Capacity:   Conference Room (440 sq ft) – maximum 18 persons (boardroom seating)
    Seminar Room (570 sq ft) – maximum 40 persons (classroom seating)
