The Chamber offers five categories of membership so to provide the opportunity for different segments of the business community to be part of it. These categories are:



Corporate Membership
Corporate membership is for any business with an interest in promoting their products and services in Singapore as well as utilizing SICCI’s networks and services, to promote their business into the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.
 

Ordinary Corporate Membership

Subscription Fee: S$430.00 plus 7 percent GST per annum

 

Ordinary Corporate membership is opened to any Singapore-registered business firm/company where the majority of the capital/shareholding is held by persons of ethnic Indian origin.*

 

Ordinary Corporate Members are entitled to all the benefits and services of the Chamber and are eligible to vote members to the Chamber’s Board of Directors. They may also stand for elections to serve on the Chamber’s Board of Directors, subject to the terms and conditions laid out in the SICCI’s Memorandum and Articles of Association.

Associate Corporate Membership

Subscription Fee: S$480.00 plus 7 percent GST per annum

 

Associate Corporate membership is opened to any Singapore-registered business firm/company where the majority of the capital/shareholding is held by persons of non-Indian ethnic origin.*

 

Associate Corporate Members are entitled to all the benefits and services of the Chamber except the rights and privileges associated with voting members to the Chamber’s Board of Directors and standing for elections to serve on the Chamber’s Board of Directors.

 

 

Ordinary Individual Membership

Subscription Fee: S$330.00 plus 7 percent GST per annum

 

Ordinary Individual membership is opened to any individual of Indian origin with an interest in business networking and enhancing his/her business prospects in Singapore. An individual includes a professional or an executive of ethnic Indian origin and is employed in Singapore.

 

Ordinary Individual Members are entitled to all the benefits and services of the Chamber and are eligible to vote to members to the Chamber’s Board of Directors. They may stand for elections to serve on the Chamber’s Board of Directors, subject to the terms and conditions laid out in SICCI’s Memorandum and Articles of Association.

 

 

Note:  An individual who is a partner or stake-holder in a business firm/company is not eligible for Individual membership. He or she is allowed to have his or her business firm/company apply for the appropriate Corporate Membership.

 

 

 

Women’s Indian Network (SICCI-WIN)

Subscription Fee: S$330.00 plus 7 percent GST per annum

 

SICCI-Women’s Indian Network (SICCI-WIN) is the women’s wing of the Chamber. It is committed to the enhancement of the interests of business and professional women in Singapore as well as the promotion of entrepreneurship amongst Singaporean women. SICCI-WIN leverages on the Chamber’s networks and SICCI-WIN members are entitled to all the benefit and services of the Chamber.

 

The eligibility criteria for SICCI-WIN membership are as follows:

 
  • A lady who is a professional or an executive of ethnic Indian origin employed in Singapore;* and

  • A lady of ethnic Indian origin who is a partner/stake holder/representative of a company that is an Ordinary Corporate Member of the Chamber is automatically eligible for SICCI-WIN Membership, subject to the terms and conditions laid out in SICCI’s Memorandum and Articles of Association.
 
Youth Membership
 

Subscription Fee: S$100.00 plus 7 percent GST per annum

Youth membership is opened to individuals interested in being a part of the Young Entrepreneurs Network@SICCI (YEN@SICCI), the youth wing of the Chamber. YEN@SICCI promotes entrepreneurship among the youth in the Indian community. It also serves as a business networking platform aimed at redefining the entrepreneurial culture amongst the youth, with emphasis on developing a ‘thinking out of the box’ mindset and striving for entrepreneurial excellence.


To apply for Youth membership, the applicant must be of ethnic Indian origin working and/or studying in Singapore* and he/she must be below the age of 30 years.

 

 

 

Organisational Membership

Subscription Fee: S$1,000.00 plus 7 percent GST per annum

 

Organisational membership is extended on invitation from SICCI’s Board of Directors to organisations which wish to further their primary business/commercial interests in line with SICCI’s objectives. These organisations, if admitted, are able to utilise the Chamber’s networks and resources whilst remaining autonomous, operationally and functionally.
