SICCI Trade Match  
 

Trade Match is a wholly-owned subsidiary of  SICCI.

 

It specialises in linking SICCI members and companies in Singapore with suitable business partners, both locally and internationally. Its customised services are helpful and relevant to companies which seek new business ventures or are looking to expand into other emerging markets in the region and beyond.

 

Trade Match’s programmes are designed for the business community to build collaboration and networks, facilitate learning and improve capacity to enhance business practices in Singapore and around the region.

 

Trade Match also works towards attracting more investments into Singapore. It identifies the latest opportunities that exist for overseas stakeholders and initiates communication channels and exchanges ideas with various associations, business centres and commercial attaches.

 

In an increasingly competitive business environment, SICCI Trade Match also aims to help the Chamber's members and companies based in Singapore to internationalise.

 

KEY INITIATIVES

Business Delegations

Through Trade Match, the Chamber represents the Indian business community in bilateral, regional, and multilateral fora for the purpose of promoting trade expansion and business networking.

Trade Match takes the lead in scheduling, hosting and facilitating meetings with delegations and dignitaries with the aim of creating business linkages for SICCI members as well as for exploring business potentials and partnerships.

 

Business Missions

SICCI’s Trade Match also spearheads the arrangement of business missions for SICCI members, companies and organisations. It has extensive experience and the necessary capability and expertise to manage and lead general or focused business missions to countries such as India, Southeast Asia and the Middle East.

Given the growing interest among the Chamber's members in new and emerging markets, SICCI Trade Matchtakes on the responsibility of identifying and studying potential opportunities in these markets with the view of leading missions to these destinations.

 

Business Networking

The Chamber taps on Trade Match resources to facilitate regular business networking opportunities for its members. Through activities such as ‘buyer-seller meets’ and hosting industry-specific delegations, Trade Match creates an ideal platform for members and potential partners to exchange business information and explore possible business and investment collaboration

 

Business Conferences, Exhibitions and Trade Fairs

SICCI Trade Match is also a fully functional event management company that develops and executes a diverse range of events, including conferences, seminars and exhibitions. Compising local and international contents, these events and initiatives are important platforms for the Chamber's members to gain a comprehensive understanding of the business and investment climates as well as potential opportunities in the international marketplace. 

SICCI Trade Match also spearheads the organisation of trade fairs and exhibitions which bring together businesses from different industries and sectors in Singapore and from countries of interest to the Chamber's members. These fairs and exhibitions provide the ideal meeting place for potential partnerships and collaborations.

 

Business Partnerships

Through SICCI Trade match, the Chamber forms and maintains strategic allainces with trade bodies and business associations locally and globally. These partnerships enable the Chamber to gain an in-depth understanding and appreciation of the host country's socio-economic and business enviroments. They also allow the Chamber's members explore investment and business opportunities with potential partners in different parts of the world.

 

Business Advocacy

SICCI is recognised as the voice of the Indian business community. Through Trade Match, SICCI takes the lead in representing the views of its members and the Indian business community to the various government agencies as well as share the government’s policies and plans with its members and the Indian business community.

This symbiotic relationship is important in enabling SICCI to articulate the views and concerns of the Chamber's members to the relevant Singapore ministeries and government agencies while allowing the government to reach out and engage Singapore Indian businesses.
