1. Corporate Membership |
| |
° |
Corporate membership is for any business with an interest in promoting their products and services in Singapore as well as utilizing SICCI’s networks and services, to promote their business into the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.

(A)Ordinary Corporate Member
|
| |
|
|
>
|
Any Singapore–registered business firm/company where majority of the capital/shareholding is held by persons of ethnic Indian origin (definition of ‘Indian origin’ is in accordance with the definitions under the Singapore Census) |
|
>
|
Ordinary Corporate Members are entitled to all the benefits and services from the Chamber and are eligible to vote Members to the Chamber’s Board of Directors and may also stand for elections to serve on the Chamber’s Board of Directors |

(B)Associate Corporate Member
|
| |
|
|
>
|
Any singapore–registered business firm/company where the majority of the capital/shareholding is held by persons of non-Indian ethnic origin (definition of ‘Indian origin’ is in accordance with the definitions under the Singapore Census).
|
|
>
|
Associate Corporate members are entitled to all the benefits and services from the Chamber except the rights and privileges associated with voting Members to the Chamber’s Board of Directors and standing for elections to serve on the Chamber’s Board of Directors.

2. Ordinary Individual Membership
|
| |

|
Ordinary Individual membership is for any individual of Indian origin with an interest in business networking and enhancing their business prospects in Singapore. They include individuals who are Professionals/Executives of ethnic Indian origin and are employed in Singapore.
|
| |
°
|
Individual members are entitled to all the benefits and services from the Chamber and are eligible to vote to elect members to the Chamber’s Board of Directors and may stand for elections to serve on the Chamber’s Board of Directors. (Subject to the terms and conditions laid out in the chambers Memorandum and Articles of Association)
|
| |
|
(Note: An individual who is a partner or stake-holder in a business firm/company is not eligible for Individual Membership but is allowed to have his/her business firm/company apply for the appropriate Corporate Membership)
|

3. Women’s Indian Network (SICCI-WIN)
|
| |

|
SICCI-WIN is the Women’s wing of SICCI. It is committed to the enhancement of the interests of business and professional women in Singapore as well as the promotion of entrepreneurship with Singaporean women. As a part of SICCI, WIN leverages on the Chamber’s networks and resources to fulfill its objectives and initiatives. The eligibility criteria for SICCI-WIN membership are as follows:

A lady of ethnic Indian origin, who is a Partner/Stake Holder/Representative of a company that is an Ordinary Corporate Member of SICCI, is automatically eligible for the SICCI-WIN membership. (Subject to the terms and conditions laid out in the chambers Memorandum and Articles Of Association)

| 4. Organisational Membership |

Organisational Membership is extended, on invitation from SICCI’s Board of Directors, to organizations who wish to further their primary business/commercial interests, in line with SICCI’s objectives. These organizations, if admitted, will be able to utilize the Chamber’s networks and resources, whilst remaining autonomous, operationally and functionally.

Members can enjoy upto 30% discount on the processing and endorsement of Certificates-of-Origin as well as upto 12.5% on the processing of Inward and Outward Declarations through Trade Net.

Members will receive regular updates & commercial news, electronically. The e-circulars that are currently circulated include: ‘Newsline’ (local & international commercial news), ‘Infoline’ (information relating to Singapore government policies & regulations), ‘Tradeline’ (international trade enquiries) ‘Eventsline’ (information about events organized or supported by SICCI).

Membership Directory & Website Listing:

Members will have their corporate contact details listed free-of-charge, both within the Chamber’s membership directory (published annually) as well as on the SICCI website. Members will also receive a complimentary copy of the membership directory, which has an extensive local and international distribution.

Members are entitled to stipulate discounted prices for all SICCI publications. In addition, Members wishing to advertise in the Chamber’s membership directory or e-newsletter, will also receive attractive discounts off the published rates.

The Chamber maintains a library, stocked with relevant reference literature such as trade directories and industrial journals, which can be utilized by the Members, free-of-charge.

The Chamber’s new premises have modern & convenient conference facilities, for Members wishing to conduct seminars, meetings or workshops. The preferential rates provided to Members will help them avoid the incurrence of expensive overhead charges, normally associated with the hosting of such events.

Closing date for each month is on the second Thursday of the month. Applications received after the date will be processed in the following month. |

» Please note for membership fees, the annual subscription fee is as stated above. It will be pro-rated in the second year accordingly for the financial year ending December. Entrance fee are one-time payments. |

» Subsequent renewal of membership is subject to payment of the subscription fee by the end of January of each year. |
